Ms. Cauvery Ganapathy is working on programmes related toEnergy Security and Nuclear Proliferation . She is also the Programme and Outreach Co-ordinator of the Foundation. She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from St. Xaviers College, has completed her Masters Degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University and is currently pursuing her Doctoral work on ‘Energy Security: India’s Foreign Policy Options’, from Jadavpur University. She has worked with the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, on the ‘Nuclear Industry in India’.

Ms. Ganpathy has been awarded the Nehru-Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship to the University of California, Berkeley under its 2014-’15 edition.  She has also been awarded the D.C.Pavate Fellowship as Visiting Faculty in International Studies, Senior Member, Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge.


Ms. Sayantani Sen Mazumdar's research interest includes India's Act East Policy and India's Asia-Pacific Dynamics.Her PhD thesis has been on India's Look East Policy vis-a-vis North-East East Region of India.


Ms. Debangana Chatterjee, who is currently pursuing her M. Phil in International Politics affiliated under the Centre for International Politics, Organization and Disarmament (CIPOD) from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, completed her masters in Politics (with specialization in International Relations) from the same institution followed by a Bachelors’ degree from the department of International Relations, Jadavpur University. Her recent publication, titled as The BRICS Card: Strategy and Diplomacy in Ukrainian Crisis, was published in July 2014 in the ‘Journal of Peace Studies’. She holds key research interest in IR theories.


Ms. Sangbida Lahari has a B.A degree in history from Presidency College, Kolkata and a postgraduate degree from  Calcutta University in South And South-East Asian Studies. She is doing her PhD on Student and youth Movement in Bengal. Before joining GIF, she has an experience in Journalism including field reporting in Kolkata and the districts of Bengal. She worked with two major Media House, The Anandabazar Patrika and Times of India group. She had also worked in a TV Channel, the Mahuaa Khabor and Mahanirvan Calcutta Research group, Kolkata. 


 

Ms.Shivani Gupta is currently pursuing her M.Phil in Political Science from Calcutta University. She has completed her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Political Science from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata and University of Calcutta respectively. She is associated with the foundation as a research assistant and is working on the project of Human Development in North East India.


Ms. Deeplina Banerjee is currently pursuing master’s degree in International Relations from the Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University. She has completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Gokhale College, University of Calcutta. She is associated with the Foundation in the capacity of a Research Intern and is working on the issues of Human Development in the North East India.
